I had a reasonable day today with Sarah. We went out tonight for dinner to an Italian restaurant named Paolo’s. We drank bit much, but we had a great time. We ended up at a bar named Annie’s, that I always found to be quaint. Sarah was talking away at me when I happened to look up and see Angela and some other girls walk into the bar. I ducked my head down a bit causing Sarah to turn around to see what was the matter. Luckily the place was packed and Angela and her friends walked right by us, never even noticing. Sarah kept right on talking without a minute to spare. I was lucky! I quickly paid the bar tab and hustled out of that place. Sarah questioned why we were leaving so abruptly, but I satisfied her curiosity by saying I wanted to hit another place with a better dance floor. I knew that would attract her attention since she loved dancing, whereas I did not. Sarah held onto me, stumbling along the uneven brick sidewalk as we walked over to The Cellar. Loud music, large crowds, and ignominy. I felt safer. As for the rest of our evening, we danced the night away!
